            ABOUT ME

Born in Olean, NY, Patrick Reuman grew up with a vivid imagination and enjoyed reading at a young age. He loved to get his blood pumping with thrilling horror rides such as "IT" by Stephen King and "The Wrong Number" by R.L. Stine. He began taking writing more seriously by the time he reached 16 when his high school English teacher assigned the class to write a one-page story about something they were afraid of as a child. He took that assignment by the horns and transformed it into a 25-page short story that sprung him into a chasm of storytelling in which he would never be able to return. Now he spends his days digging into the human mind to hunt down what makes fear tick and force it onto pages in the form of words.

The other half of Patrick lives in the real world, where he attends college at the University at Buffalo and studies biotechnology. He has a beautiful 3-year-old son that thinks he's a zombie hunting police officer and loves piggyback rides. Other than that, Patrick enjoys looking at the stars, long walks on the beach, and hanging out with Jim Croce. That's not to mention that it's often cloudy where he lives, he is a terrible swimmer, and hanging out with Croce might possibly only be going on in his head. He hopes to eventually expand his career and break boundaries in both the field of science and the field of writing to achieve great success.
